Ruth Waring FCILT has 30 years’ experience in the transport and logistics sector, starting her career with NFC as a graduate trainee in 1989 in France and the UK, then promoted to traffic manager.

Ruth also worked for Gefco UK, in the automotive supply chain for seven years, then moving books worldwide for Pearson. Ruth worked as a consultant from 2002-2019 until she and her business partner Jo Godsmark FCILT sold Labyrinth Logistics Consulting to BigChange Ltd, a mobile workforce technology company. Ruth and Jo are directors of Advisory Plus, the consultancy arm of BigChange.

Ruth is an expert on Operator Licensing and Health & Safety compliance and is also the co-creator of the on-line compliance tool BigChange Audit.

Ruth has won many awards for her work in the logistics sector covering both her pioneering compliance work and for improving diversity.
